What is HelloAva?

HelloAva uses AI and machine learning to provide consumers with highly accurate, personalized skincare recommendations and products.

 

My first week.

Upon joining the HelloAva team, I ran a UX assessment of their consultation and post-consultation follow up experience.

My goal was to understand what was working well and where there are opportunities for improvement.

After interviewing HelloAva team members and processing all the feedback, I consolidated my findings to present to the entire team. Together, we prioritized what to improve upon based on short and long term impacts.

UI Feature + Interaction Design

Below is first iteration of a post-consultation feature that lets users see personalized comments from the esthetician directly on a product recommendation.

 

This feature directs the user back to the platform where they can visually see their personalized recommendations including why they are the most effective.

 

What does this accomplish?

This feature is integrated, brand consistent, and accessible. This means less time digging through emails and trying to match bullet points on an email with products on the site, and more time focusing on purchasing the best product for them!
