Outcomes 🎁

This UI redesign of the Gmail settings page reduces cognitive load by:

allowing users to know where to look and what is important vs. supportive,
increasing accessibility through less visual overwhelm and including visual icons, and
allowing users to locate specific settings faster.

What next? 🧭

I would want to know: did we move the needle?

In order to test and validate the impact of these changes, I would want to define specific metrics that we can track over time to compare with previous usability metrics to show if these designs were successful.
